This is the Gold Rush Fountain at 5th and L Street. The artist is Tom Otterness this is cast bronze created in 1999. A delightful discovery for us. It is in front of the Federal Courthouse. Great area for art discoveries and a fun puppy walk!

I’ll tell you a bit about the Ted fountain now. It is at 700 H street. There are two of them one on North side and another on the South side of the Sacramento County Administration Building. They are called the Shimizu Fountains made in 1977 by Seiji Shimizu

This Art Walk was mostly about architecture in the Poverty Ridge District which is around 20th street and T and V streets. This is a gorgeous door on a backyard entry of an amazing mansion. If you haven’t walked there go check it out. It is very historical and interesting.
