Tonight or I should say this afternoon when I started dashing my first dash had taken me to Hannaford and I got two different types of milk and orange juice, after delivering it I got a message from the buyer saying he couldn't drink it and showed the date on the milk It had expired on the 23rd, today is the 28th, that's almost a week past! First of all that's disgusting! It's one thing if it does that in your fridge and you can monitor it It's another thing when you buy it and it's that way already So I told him I would be right back there to grab that milk take it back and exchange it for one that was not expired! I of course don't have to do that but I did it anyway.. So I went and got the milk brought it back All of them were expired except for two jugs that had March 30th on them, so when I went to the house I knocked on the door this time with the milk and told him I was so sorry it says the 30th it was the closest one to not expired of all of them! Which is unbelievably insane for a place like Hannaford they're supposed to have better quality better this better that, yeah get your s*** together Hannaford when I showed up to that apartment with that milk there was a brand new baby crying in the background so I don't blame them for being picky about what they give their little baby! Then his wife handed him a bunch of ones which were handed to me I had already gotten an $11 tip so they gave me an extra $5 in cash thanked me from the bottom of their hearts! Then went into the app and chose me as their preferred shopper! I'm very proud of myself right now that put me up in percentages very high telling me for a beginner I am rising up very quick I am a platinum dasher now which means I have all the best perks I get all the best offers and high paying tips only and I will be the first person they go to over people around me even if they are closer than I am! And now I am the preferred shopper of a customer I have delivered to the building of at least five times but to different apartments, I just had to give myself a pat on the back because I'm working very hard and it's so paying off and for once I think I've found my element This doesn't feel like work to me at all but yet I am making $30 an hour and sometimes more! On average if I even do it on a slow day I at least make $20 to 25 per hour and I was sitting there being treated like s*** for $16.75 at Dollar General buy a manager who doesn't know how to treat animals let alone human beings! And Dollar General what did they do about it? Nothing absolutely nothing So all of these big corporate companies can seriously get effed just saying you're horrible people and you do not care about your employees that's pathetic I am getting more perks from an AI generated employer than I am human beings How sad is that?
But I'm not going to make this negative because it's not I feel blessed right now I got to see some of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen in Poland and I am on cloud 9 tonight! ❤️🫶❤️🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️🫶🫶🫶
I think the gods and goddesses heard my plea, I needed something to happen for me that went positively for once and I couldn't have asked for a better window to open after the slamming of my last door. Everything happens for a reason you guys everything! Just saying
