Camerata Bardi International Academy prepares and promotes young artists for professional careers, connecting study and stage through training in language, style, and interpretation, applied directly in rehearsals and full productions under expert guidance. The program builds artistic confidence, versatility, and identity, as participants put their learning into practice on stage.

In 2027, the Online Academy is paired with NYC productions of WA Mozart’s Don Giovanni (June, The Flea) and Michael Dellaira's The Leopard (Sept., Nagelberg Theater), fully staged, with orchestra, co-produced with Teatro Grattacielo. Applications are open, with no application fee or age limit. All roles and covers are open as listed; the deadline is Dec. 4th, 2026.

Strengthening the Craft. Preparing for the Professional Stage.

Camerata Bardi introduces Camerata Bardi Studio, a new intensive artist-development program for singers who want to strengthen their vocal, musical, dramatic, and professional skills while gaining meaningful stage experience.

TWO PROGRAMS. TWO STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT.

The Camerata Bardi International Academy is for singers with a strong vocal foundation who are ready to prepare complete roles within an intensive professional rehearsal process culminating in fully staged productions with orchestra.

Camerata Bardi Studio is developmental: singers strengthen technique, musicianship, stagecraft, artistic identity, and professional preparation while immediately applying those skills in rehearsal and performance.

Studio participants do not perform a complete opera. Each singer will work on and perform selected scenes from the program repertoire/curriculum or, depending on repertoire and casting availability, a complete act, culminating in a staged performance with piano.

At Camerata Bardi International Academy, we believe that developing a young artist goes far beyond vocal training and performance experience.

Part of building a professional career is learning how to create a presence within the industry — through meaningful performance credits, professional photographs, reviews, press recognition, and the materials that become part of an artist’s developing résumé and public profile.
