Thank you Emily Whitten and the Morgan County Citizen for a wonderful article on Mofobia - Live at City Park/Rutledge tomorrow night from 7-9 p.m. in Downtown Rutledge, GA.
"'The band, Mofobia, will perform the final concert in this year's Rutledge, GA Summer Concert Series Friday, August 28, on the Gazebo stage. The classic soul and rock band is composed of many seasoned veterans, most of whom played the Chitlin Circuit back in the 60s,' according to Terry Reeves of Music Matters Entertainment . 'Not only does the band play many songs you've heard on the radio over the years, they also play a few deep cuts that you might have only heard if you bought the albums,' Reeves said. 'They made their debut in Rutledge last year and the reception was unbelievable. They are back by popular demand...'"
Please pick up the paper at any local store and for the entire article. We hope you'll join us for some great classic soul and tasteful classic rock covers. This is a band you don't want to miss!
We want to thank our sponsors immensely, for without them, these concerts would not be possible. Our Presenting Sponsor again this year is Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty/Lake Country ." They have been with us many years, and their support is deeply appreciated.
We also want to thank our other sponsors: Atlanta Blues Society , Jamie Hood Creative Marketing, Rutledge Hardware , Rutledge Family Dental, Rutledge Liquor , The Caboose , Back to Wellness Clinic - Rutledge Wellness Building, Rutledge, GA , and Music Matters Entertainment . Additionally, we'd like to thank the City of Rutledge, and Mayor Tim Odom for allowing us to use the Gazebo and park week after week, and for maintaining the park.
And thank you all for being there week after week, and leaving the park clean as a whistle every single week. Thank you all for your support!
Bring your lawn chairs, coolers, foos, friends and dancing shoes. These fellas we'll keep us on our feet!
While we have no current plans to hold additional concerts in the fall, should we gain additional funding and find a slot or two in the calendar, we might be able to host another concert or two this year. If we do, of course, we will post it here. If you're interested in sponsoring or funding additional concerts, or becoming a sponsor for next year's series, please contact Terry Reeves at [email protected] and she will provide you with all info, levels of sponsorship and cost.
See yall tomorrow night! 🎶🥰💃🕺
