Reminder that there will be no concert this week due to filming in downtown Rutledge . We'll be back on the 19th with Classic Rock with Reckless Abandon - Live on the Gazebo Stage .

We would like to encourage y'all to attend the Market on Saturday, which has been moved to Silo Park behind City Hall due to filming. There will be a young entrepreneurs market as well. We hope many of you will support this and our young entrepreneurs! We definitely plan to attend. 🙂

What a great night last night! Thank you Darin & Brooke Aldridge for returning to Rutledge this year and playing for our community. It's always such a treat , and we appreciate y'all. We hope you'll be back! Here are a few photos from last night's concert at Silo Park.

Thank you Emily Whitten and Morgan County Citizen for this great article on Friday's Darin & Brooke Aldridge - Live at Silo Park from 7-9 p.m. Don't forget that tomorrow night's concert is at Silo Park behind City Hall on Newborn Road and not the Gazebo. There will be signs in front of City Hall directing you to the entrance on the left side of City Hall. There are restrooms and concessions on site. Don't miss this awesome opportunity to see this award-winning band. Darin & Brooke Aldridge have performed at the Grand Ole Opry over 60 times, and have performed and recorded with Vince Gill, whose song is on their last album. These guys are the real deal. The Rutledge, GA Summer Concert Series kicks off next Friday, June 5th with multi-award winning bluegrass/gospel artists Darin & Brooke Aldridge . They ust released their new gospel album "Soul Connection." Don't miss the chance to see them accompanied by their talented band! The concert will be held at the Silo Stage at Silo Walking Park behind City Hall. There will be signs placed at City Hall directing concertgoers to the entrance to the park. There is a gravel parking lot to your left when you enter the park. There is also parking on the street or at city hall and the post office, as well as parking across the railroad tracks , by Rutledge Wellness or behind what Rutledge hardware , and it's only about a block away.

This beautiful park was donated by Mr. Tommy Breedlove. We're so grateful for his amazing generosity, and that we have this venue as a backup for the concert series and for other events! There will be food available in the concession stand and there are restrooms are in the park.

The concert will be held at Silo Walking Park on the silo stage behind Rutledge City Hall.

The husband-and-wife duo fronts an award-winning bluegrass and gospel band. They have played the Grand Ole Opry over 60 times. Brooke is a four-time winner of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award for Female Vocalist of the Year, while Darin, once a former member of The Country Gentlemen, is a former IBMA Mentor of the Year and a truly gifted singer and multi-instrumentalist. They have had numerous nominations over the years from the IBMA, the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA), the Gospel Music Association (GMA Dove Awards) and the Inspirational Country Music Association

“We are so excited to have Darin & Brooke Aldridge returning to Rutledge after making their Rutledge debut last year. That concert will be held at Silo Park, the beautiful park generously donated by Mr. Tommy Breedlove. We’re also looking forward to many of our favorites returning, as well as a few new bands. Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to bring national acts, such as Darin & Brooke, in addition to many of our local and regional favorites, each year. Seeing our community come together, sway to the music, smile, sing and dance, is heartwarming and what it’s all about. This first concert is the only one in the summer’s series to take place at Silo Park. It was moved to this location since downtown Rutledge will be closed for filming of the Netflix series “Scooby-Doo: Origins.” All of the other concerts in the series will take place on Friday evenings at the Gazebo in City Park in downtown Rutledge as in previous years. There will be no concert on June 12 due to the Netflix filming.

The weekly concerts continue Friday, June 19th and every Friday thereafter through the end of August.

The Rutledge Country Fair scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to June 27, 2026, due to predicted rain all weekend. Given the fact that all activities are outside and there is a parade, vendors and a lot of work goes into this event, it was determined that the event should be postponed. Please help the the organizers at Rutledge Rec. Dept spread the word. Thank you!

Due to the weather forecast, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Country Fair this weekend. The safety of our vendors, guests, and community comes first.

The good news — we are excited to announce the fair has been rescheduled for June 27th!

We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued support, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you all in June for an even bigger and better event. Stay tuned for more updates and details coming soon!

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and you're ready for the big thaw , and this year's Rutledge, GA Summer Concert Series ! We have had numerous questions about whether or not this year's concert series would take place, and yes! It definitely is! The next most frequent question is whether it will be in its current location at City Park in downtown Rutledge, or whether or not it will be at the new Silo Park, while there are great events happening at Silo Park, and we greatly appreciate the Breedlove family for their kindness in donating that beautiful park, we will continue to hold our weekly summer concert series in City Park. Ours is a small intimate series and it will continue in its current location where it has been held for many years. We do encourage you to attend any and all events at Silo Park, and we may partner with them at some point to bring you an occasional larger concert or two. It's a wonderful place and a beautiful park. We will post about those events here from time to time.

In the meantime, we are currently beginning work on the 2026 concert series, and we look forward to making announcements about the upcoming lineup. We're so excited about some of the acts who will be joining us this year, as well as ones from previous years, some of your favorites.
