SEASONS: Summer cast spotlight: Torrance Behrendt

We are proud to introduce Tori in her AVD debut! A native of Vermont, Tori has been dancing for 8+ years in the Rutland, VT area and is constantly seeking out new dance opportunities. She is currently studying at Vermont State University Castleton, where she is majoring in Elementary/Special Education, with a minor in Dance.

In addition to performing with AVD this summer, Tori will be interning with Artsfest Circus Company and training for cross country in the fall.

2026 Dance Recital is in the book🩵

To find the right words to express how I feel reflecting back on this past dance year would be INCREDIBLELY grateful for many reasons!!

To my dance families- thank you for all the love and support you show these dancers all year round. Thank you for trusting in our studio and allowing us to love your children and to help them grow as dancers but also individuals.

To my Teachers Ms. Emily & Mr. BJ as well as my assistants in classes- Thank you for bringing your creativity to the stage! These dancers adore you all and I’m very thankful to have you all apart of the studio. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who are always lending a hand to help when needed.

To my Dancers from our pre-k dancers to the senior comp team- you all make my heart beyond happy, to see your confidence and growth throughout the year shine on stage is the best gift I can receive as the Owner of the studio! You all have so much to be proud of!

Don't worry about having to stop on the way to pickup a bouquet for your dancer, you can place an order and it will be waiting for you in the lobby at recital all while supporting HEART of Dance Competition Team!!

In an effort to make everyone's lives easier, we are bringing back the option to purchase bouquets for your dancer(s) that can be picked up in the Castleton University Theatre Lobby when you arrive for the recital. This will also be a fundraiser for the Comp Team!! DEADLINE TO SUBMIT ORDER & PAYMENT...
