Netflix Productions was at Fox Recording Studios Friday, November 22 in Rutherford, NJ shooting scenes for an upcoming Netflix feature film called “Beauty” starring Sharon Stone and Gracie Marie Bradley. I, David Blake, Fox Recording Studio’s owner appear in all scenes with both stars. It was a real trip and quite an honor. Sharon Stone was great to work with. She plays the record company’s executive producer. Beauty, played by Gracie Marie Bradley, plays an inspiring young talent who is about to burst upon the world. I play myself, a recording and mixing engineer. The look and feel of the place itself has much to do with why Netflix chose Fox. I’ve worked on sound for movie and video many times through the years, but I never actually appeared on camera before. The whole Hollywood ambiance was an incredible experience.
