***** MEET THE CAST *****

James and Matilda are devoted Wonka-fans and show up at the candy shop with Charlie. Did you catch the nod to titular character in other Roald Dahl books?

Nash Kilpatrick most recently appeared as The Frog Prince in THE STINKY CHEESE MAN and has performed in many other shows prior to that. When not on stage, you can often catch him selling his baked goods at the Ruston Farmer's Market.

Charlotte Hanchey shines as a dedicated young performer bringing s***k to each of her roles. She was last seen in THE STINKY CHEESE MAN as Cinderella. She also played Imogene Herman in the most recent production of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER.

***** SENIOR SPOTLIGHT *****

Teagan Leblanc

Teagan started acting in RCT shows in 2016 when she was 8 years old (around 2016). She had shown an interest in acting so her mom and dad helped her prepare an audition for Beauty and the Beast.

Her favorite role was Broadway Melody Host from “Singing in the Rain Jr” because she loved singing “Broadway Melody” and wearing that fabulous costume!

Teagan has graduated from Ruston High and plans to attend Louisiana Tech to major in biology.

During the month of May, we will highlight seniors who have been involved with RCT. If you are a graduating senior (or know one) who would like to be acknowledged, please fill out the form to submit the needed information: https://forms.gle/QmyLdzGrECqubzFr7

***** MEET THE AUTHOR *****

Roald Dahl (1916–1990) was a British author known for his imaginative, slightly mischievous children’s stories. Before becoming a writer, he served as a fighter pilot in World War II and later worked as a screenwriter. He went on to create beloved classics like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and The BFG, captivating generations with his signature mix of humor, heart, and dark whimsy. His stories continue to inspire films, plays, and musicals—including W***y Wonka Jr.
