Announcing Hillbillie by Artist, Morgan McCullin

This exhibition is the culmination of McCullin’s () work from the 2025 RLCF Residency! (.residencies) Hillbillie is a testament to McCullin’s lived experience of growing up in poverty-stricken North Louisiana. Works in this show examine the contrast between the reality of social injustice and the fantastical elements of folk tales, Greek myth, and other stories from McCullin’s childhood.

Downtown Ruston was bursting with creativity at the Ruston Art Ramble! 🎨✨

I spent the evening rambling from shop to shop, meeting incredibly talented artists, discovering some truly one-of-a-kind creations and putting my talent for spending money to excellent use. 😂

The Ruston Art Ramble happens quarterly, and it’s such a fun way to experience our Downtown Ruston while supporting regional artists and local businesses. If you missed this one, the next Ramble is November 19 from 5:30–8:00 p.m.!

A huge shout-out to Creative Exchange, the Ruston Cultural District, and the Gilbert Center for partnering to bring this event to life—and to every participating business that opened its doors to these artists!
