I held this beautiful girl the day she was born, it's hard to believe (and maybe I am in denial)..but she is graduating this week! She is a simply stunning, talented, tender hearted, hilarious young lady. Emma, you are pure sunshine in these photos. Thank you for the honor of capturing this milestone in your life. Can't wait to see what the Lord does with you and the talents He has given you.

Now that we are running our NPO full time we don't have as much space to take personal shoots but when we do, we certainly are thrilled when it's dear friends who are expecting BIG things in their marriage. These two genetically blessed individuals are not just a feast for the eyes, they are some of the kindest, loving, generous, fun and godly people we know. Enjoy a gorgeous spring night shoot on the farm.

These two have come into our life at such a great season. We delight in their friendship and presence. They are full of joy, laughter, and encouragement. We were so honored when they asked us to photograph them for their upcoming 3rd Anniversary. Without hesitation...YES! Enjoy a few of our favorites from last nights shoot at the Torrence farm. They sure made a soybean field look romantic!

These two DC dwellers brought such joy and lightness to our June engagement shoot despite the hot summer sun coming down. We had a ton of fun hitting up some of their favorite spots around DC and drinking in the color of the rowhouses near the Capital. Here is a little sampling of our morning together.

There is no denying this sweet little doe-eyed niece of ours has truly grown into a stunning woman. Eleven years ago she was a junior bridesmaid in our wedding and we had the honor of being her wedding photographers on her big day! Time has flown by! We love this young lady fiercely and are so proud of her and her beautiful heart for the Lord. This was a wonderful family affair that would not have been possible without Joel Coleman stepping in for me during the ceremony and covering the family photos and reception for both of us so we could enjoy being with our family! Thank you to everyone involved in making this day so special for Natalia and David. Thank you Avoca Museums & Historical Society for hosting this gorgeous wedding! When one of your best friends comes home after two years of living overseas to deliver a "surprise" blessing...well you not only drink in every moment of their short stateside stay...you photograph their delicious baby. Drinking in the last few days of this boy before he heads back overseas...this time on the outside of the belly!

This girl is as radiant as the glowing light that followed us all session. We have never laughed so hard on a shoot than we did with this gorgeous girl. Oh how we have loved working with this family the last few years! Happy almost graduation Jade!

Sometimes you have to accept that kids will actually grow up someday and become full fledge adults! My incredibly beautiful, sweet and godly niece has done such a thing. What an honor it is to be her aunt and a priviledge for Ryan and I to document these important milestones as they head to the alter in the spring. We closed out our 2015 shooting season with the last of the fall leaves and a gorgeous sunset. Couldn't have asked for a sweeter time with a couple we love so much!

We laugh in the face of 90% chance of rain...LAUGH I SAY! We miraculously secured two hours of no rain to pull off 1st look, family portraits and the ceremony all outside. Praise the Lord. Sarah and Thomas were handed the most beautiful and moody tones due to thsoe those ominous clouds. Here are a few sneak peeks of this gorgeous couple.
