On this episode of All Things Russellville, we’re announcing something pretty special—the Freedom 250 Mobile Museum is coming to Russellville!

In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, six Freedom Trucks are traveling across the country in 2026, stopping at schools, fairs, and community celebrations. Each truck is a museum on wheels, bringing the story of America’s founding directly to communities through interactive exhibits that allow visitors to step inside the American story and explore the fight for American independence.

And one of those stops will be right here in Russellville, Arkansas!

📍 The Freedom Truck will be located at 1105 E. Main Street on the former Check H lot.

A huge thank you to Boen Kemp Construction and the property owners for allowing us to use the lot and helping make it possible to bring this experience to our community.

This is a great opportunity for our students, families, schools, and entire community to experience American history in a unique way as our nation celebrates this incredible milestone.

Megan & Christie headed to Chick-fil-A Russellville today to talk with Owner-Operator Tim Douglass to discuss All Things Remodel for the Russellville location!

While we’re sad to see Chick-fil-A close temporarily, we’re excited to see the transformation ahead! The remodel and expansion will bring a larger, updated space with more room to better serve customers and accommodate the continued growth of the area.

Today is their last day open! You may see some menu items out of stock throughout the day, but they are open and ready to serve you as long as they have product available!

✨ Taking the Russellville story on the road!

This week, Christie and Megan joined Arkansas Hospitality Association CEO Alicia Payseno at the Community Development Institute (CDI Central) at the University of Central Arkansas to lead a session on the powerful connection between tourism and economic development.

From attracting visitors to creating thriving communities, tourism is about so much more than vacations—it's about supporting local businesses, creating jobs, and building places people want to visit, live, and invest in.

Thank you to for bringing together community leaders from across the country to learn, collaborate, and share ideas that make our communities stronger. We're always proud to showcase the great things happening in Russellville!

🎙️All Things Russellville with Mayor Fred Teague!

Ten years ago, before becoming Mayor of Russellville, Fred Teague made a decision that forever changed the way he viewed leadership. He spent 30 days experiencing homelessness to better understand the people served by a nonprofit he helped create, The Russ Bus , and to learn how to serve them more effectively.

On this episode of All Things Russellville, Megan and Christie sit down with Mayor Teague to look back on that experience, what he learned, and how it continues to shape the way he leads our city today. They also discuss his recent announcement that he is seeking another term as mayor.

It's an honest conversation about service, leadership, and building a better community for all citizens. You won't want to miss this one!

Megan & Christie headed downtown to check out the new art piece, recognize those who made it happen, and wrap up the All Things 250 celebration!

Christie shares how the vision for celebrating America's 250th anniversary became a reality, through the hard work of so many in our community collaborating with the Russellville Tourism and Visitor Center , Will Wetzel, and Charile Parker.

The JBT Marel team jumped on board and created this wonderful piece that will be displayed and used for celebrations for years to come. A special shoutout to Kirby Specialties Corporation for crafting the base—it truly took a community effort to bring this project to life! 👏
