Lighting improvements = the downtown equivalent of getting dressed up for a special occasion. The string lights went back up across our street today, and honestly the timing couldn’t be better. ART WALK is tomorrow night!

We’re excited to welcome guest artist, Katie Bentley, who will have her original artwork on display all evening.

Come shop, support local artists, and maybe come hug our necks while you’re here. We’d love to see a lot of familiar faces for this one.

One question we’ve been getting a lot since announcing the shop closure is: “Will you still do permanent jewelry?”

The answer is yes.

While the storefront is closing at the end of June, our permanent jewelry services will still be available for private events, pop-ups, girls’ nights, weddings, and other special gatherings.

I’m actually in Las Vegas this week at the PJX show, seeing what’s new in the permanent jewelry world and getting ideas for what’s next. I even brought my handy weld inspector husband along to help me shop for new equipment and tools. Between the two of us, we’re probably spending way too much time looking at welders.

Since I’ll be wandering the show floor for the next couple of days, I’d love to know: is there anything you’d like to see us offer at future pop-ups and events? New chains? Charms? Connectors? Something else entirely?

Tell me what you’d be excited about, and I’ll keep an eye out while I’m here.

The rumors are true. Garden Sass is closing the storefront this summer.

The truth? I’m ready for a different pace. I’m looking forward to having a little more breathing room. I want to spend more time with my family. I’m craving that slow, intentional work that made me fall in love with this in the first place.

So we’re switching things up. Like I said before, it’s not goodbye. Just a plot twist.

Our last day in the shop will be Saturday, June 27. I’d love to see you before then.
