Art Club took our end of the year trip to Fayetteville. First stop was at Cracker Barrell for breakfast. Once we arrived in Fayetteville, we took a mural walk around downtown and shopped the Fayetteville Square. Students got to visit the University Of of Arkansas' newest Art building!!! I have been dying to get in there. Afterwards, students went shopping at the NWA mall before we headed back down the mountain. I should have taken more pictures but I was busy living in the moment.

Life Impact Awards are one of my favorite things our graduating Seniors get to do for us. This year these 2 beautiful souls choose me as their recipient. What an honor, thank you so much Carrie Giese and Paige Housenick! I am going to miss these 2 next year as they head on out to chase their dreams and do big things! All my love and best wishes!!!!

🎉 RECORD BREAKING YEAR FOR RHS ART! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to announce a new school record: 15 RHS Art students were awarded and 70 competed in AYAA, going up against over 1,400 Arkansas art students statewide!

Even more exciting, RHS earned 8th place overall—another school record and our highest placement in program history!

This achievement reflects the creativity, dedication, and hard work of our amazing student artists. Every piece submitted represented countless hours of thought, skill, and passion.

Congratulations to all of our award winners and competitors—you continue to raise the bar for what is possible in our art program!

Our sculpture class recently had the opportunity to visit Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art! Students explored the museum’s incredible architecture and enjoyed a guided tour of its beautiful art collection.

A few weeks ago, students at Russellville High School had the incredible opportunity to connect with guest artists Marsha Lane Foster and James Foreman! 🎨
They shared their experiences, creative journeys, and valuable advice on building successful careers in the arts. Our students walked away inspired, encouraged, and excited about the possibilities ahead.
