The lights are still not turned on at the house. I have about 2 more things to fix to get them up and running. As long as I don't break anything else we are shooting for everything to lite up either tomorrow night or Saturday nite. I apologize for all the delays and not keeping everyone up to date. We have had to do an almost complete unscheduled re-wiring of almost everything in the show. Most controllers were also replaced and/or updated. Thanks to all the great people and companies that have aupported getting this thing lit up for 2025.

the wind/rain tried to "relocate" several props that were on the roof today but I think I got everything back in it's place. There may be some "extra" lights flashing due to everything is wet (and cold!) but we are going to run the lights tonite!!!

rain, rain, go away, come again, in about 3 weeks!!!! :) The light show is up and running!!! Drone batteries are charging so if you see weird lights in the sky above the house (or your car) it's not ET!!!

well Phooey!!!!! I didn't want to and it wasn't supposed to happen until later this week but I finally had to put on the "RAIN DELAY" sequence. Everything that is running on that sequence is under the roof and completely waterproof. Hopefully the rain will blow through and we can resume the show!! Sorry for the inconvenience and will post here again when/if the lights come back on tonight!!

The 2021 Hughes Holidays Christmas show now has added songs!! I think I have all of the songs set to play so that every 15 minutes there is a new selection of songs. The entire show is an hour long with each 15 minutes playing the same selection of songs. This way, you can "kinda" plan on when you want to get here to see a selection of songs. Remember, the radio station is 94.3FM and please no loud radios!! I was hoping to get video, snow, fire, and lasers added but hopefully can get them added before next weekend. We have been searching diligently for candy canes to hand out like we have done in the years past but I guess there is a shortage of peppermint canes this year!! I will try and get a list of the songs (in order) posted and don't worry, there will be more songs added probably by the end of this week. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me via Facebook messenger on this profile or on Hughes Holidays profile.

AND WE HAVE A CHRISTMAS SHOW!!!
I was having problems with one song playing and then when started the show, couldn't get the radio station to play....not sure what I did other than the ole "reboot everything" but it's playing!!!!
There are still some gremlins in the lights....need to fix some icicle/matrices, and of course the star on the roof that tested fine on the ground decided to stop working once it was mounted on the roof!!!
More songs will be forthcoming as everything gets fixed, Currently, the show takes about 30 minutes to loop. Remember, tune your radio to 94.3 FM and enjoy the show!!!

The 2021 Hughes Holidays Christmas Light Show is just about to begin! Now is a good time to remind everyone the rules when the light show begins ----------shooting for Sunday 12-5-2021 night!!

1. PLEASE, PLEASE, keep your radio volume to a respectable (low) level. Our neighbors will appreciate it. If I can hear it inside my house, it's too loud….. (and I have been listening to the same songs over and over and over and over while sequencing them!!!)

2. Please respect our neighbors and give them the right of way and don't block their driveways.

3. Turn your headlights off, but please leave the parking lights on. (usually a switch on your dash or press your parking brake slightly-make sure to release it when it's time to go!)

4. The Christmas display has tripping hazards everywhere and big long metal stakes sticking out of the ground. There are Low voltage and High voltage power lines running all through the display and it's “always” on. Please don't walk/step into the display and most importantly, don't let the "Little Elves" step in either. We don't want any accidents.

That's only 4 rules but they are important when you visit.

everyone needing a break from the wrapping, cooking, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, remember.....2020 Hughes Holidays lights are up and running! (Radio station 94.3FM) We changed many songs out so it's basically a whole new show! If anyone records anything, please, please, put it up and tag me/Phylena or share it with us!! I have drone batteries charging but haven't had a chance to get anything recorded this year...All of us want to wish all of yall a

p.s. the lights are going to run at least until midnight tonite and maybe alllll nite?? I want Santa to make sure and see our house...(I asked for more lights for next year!!!!...shhh, don't tell Phylena!! 🙂
