It's Motivational Mondays and today I have a short video of my last performance for the residents at the senior community.
15 years ago when I first started poling, performing in front of a live audience was just a dream. Now, I'm able to showcase my artistry to the world and spark joy in the hearts of others.

It's Motivational Mondays and I'm spinning through your timeline with a soft, sensual sequence to start your week off right.
Even though I teach pole, you'd be surprised to know how much pole has taught me.
1. Pole forces you to listen to your body. To stay in tune with how you're feeling. Some days, your body allows you to go hard and tackle new tricks. Other days, your body tells you to stretch, rest, or recover. Many times, we neglect ourselves, and before you know it, we're tired, stressed out with one tooth and 2 strands of hair on our heads. As you all know, this kind of life simply isn't gonna cut it. Longevity in pole and life in general ultimately means listening to your body.
2. Pole has taught me how to be versatile. How can one be soft and strong? How can one take a simple trick and turn it into moving art? How can one take something that was once taboo and make it accessible to those who want to learn?
3. Pole allows me to be free. Free to dance like no one's watching. Free to move about in the world and navigate through a lens of love, because I love what I do.
I could go on for days, but these are just some of the things that I've learned from pursuing my purpose.

It's Throwback Thursday!!!
Today, I'm sharing an old training video from a silks session. You guys see the glitz and the glam of performances with big energy and spectacular drops. However, you don't see the other side. The training elements. The "do it over and over again until it's perfect elements." No one sees the behind the scenes work put in. People are usually never there with you when you're shooting in the gym!
Well, the studio is my gym, and the silks are my sanctuary. I've found my peace in the air.
