✨ One of the things I love most about the dance world is how quickly strangers can become family.

A few months ago at Michigan Dance Challenge, I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful team from Always Dancing Dance Studio in Cleveland, Ohio. We instantly connected—not only through our shared love of dance, but through the energy, passion, and genuine kindness of their studio owners and students.

During our conversation, I told them that anytime they found themselves in Detroit for a competition or event, our doors at Vita would be open for them to practice. This week, they took us up on that offer, and it was an absolute joy to welcome them into our home.

Dance has a beautiful way of creating connections that stretch far beyond city limits. What starts as a shared passion often grows into friendships, support systems, and an extended studio family.

Thank you to the Always Dancing team for spending time with us. We’re grateful for these moments and proud to be part of a community where studios can cheer each other on, share space, and celebrate the art we all love.

Here’s to our Cleveland cousins—we can’t wait to see you again soon. ❤️

This week we’re excited to recognize Emily as Vita’s Student of the Week! 👏

Emily brings a wonderful combination of dance knowledge, poise, and enthusiasm to every lesson. She approaches learning with curiosity, grace, and a genuine passion for the arts that shines through every time she steps onto the dance floor.

One of the things we love most about Emily is the energy she brings to the studio. She keeps lessons fun, engaging, and full of life while continuing to grow as a dancer and deepen her understanding of the art form.

At Vita, Student of the Week is a special recognition awarded to students who demonstrate dedication, growth, and a love for learning. Emily embodies all of those qualities, and we’re so proud to celebrate her this week.

This week, we are so excited to recognize Ryan as our very first featured Student of the Week online! 👏

Ryan continues to impress us with his incredible dance knowledge, dedication to learning, and the passion he brings into every lesson. Watching students grow in confidence, artistry, and understanding of dance is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do — and Ryan truly embodies that spirit.
