From overseeing the operations of the retail family business specializing in leather and fur to establishing his own prosperous mortgage firm, Steven has consistently exhibited a nimble mind for business using integrity and resolve as his compass. However, he always knew a passion for style, music and large-scale production existed within and that eventually he would have to express it. In 2008, S
teven launched an online retail website called inkdetroit.com, a website dedicated to finding the most fashionable and quality garments available in the market and enhancing them with artistic graphics, names, clever slogans and phrases that everyone can enjoy. Ink is the legal trademark holder for “I Love Detroit” merchandise. The concept may have originated in Detroit but Steven plans on taking it to major cosmopolitan cities all over the world. In February 2009, Steven produced his very own launch party for Inkdetroit.com. The fashion show drew over 700 Detroit influencers and the successful partnerships with a local salon, clothing store and makeup artist lead to the birth of Steven Anthony Productions in March 2009. To date, Steven Anthony Productions has produced some of Detroit’s best events including fashion shows for Pelle Pelle, and Bebe, a live concert featuring Pitbull and attracting over 2000 to Sound Board inside MotorCity Casino Hotel and other productions and promotions involving Rapper Big Boi from Outkast’s, R&B singer Monica, Flo Rida, Stevie B and DJ Steve Angello from Swedish House Mafia. Steven Anthony Productions has raised the bar in Detroit nightlife by producing events that keep other entertainers and attendees talking about them for months. Steven has found his passion in bringing back Detroit nightlife through fashion and artists that can rock-the-house show after show and you can be assured that his best is yet to come.
