The newsies were out carrying the banner in more ways than one at the Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade on Monday. 📰

Our cast of Disney’s Newsies proudly marched through downtown with the Stagecrafters banner in hand, bringing plenty of energy, smiles and opening weekend excitement along the route. Now they’re ready to carry that same spirit onto the stage!

The cast of Disney’s Newsies at Stagecrafters got a surprise they’ll never forget. 📰✨

Two original Broadway cast members, and fellow Michigan natives, stopped by rehearsal to share well-wishes and words of encouragement ahead of opening night this week. Ryan Steele joined the cast in person, while Andrew Keenan-Bolger Facetimed in to send his support from afar. The excitement in the room was unmatched, and our cast was beyond thrilled to hear from the performers who helped bring this iconic show to life on Broadway.

A huge thank you to Ryan and Andrew for taking the time to inspire, encourage, and cheer on the next generation of newsies as they prepare to take the stage.
