📣 Choir Update

Due to the impending weather, we will not be holding choir rehearsal tonight. Your safety comes first, and we’d rather everyone stay home and avoid the conditions.

Please take the evening to rest those voices, look over your music if you’d like, and we’ll pick back up at our next rehearsal.

Last night was our first rehearsal with the Community Choir of Person as we begin preparing for a special project celebrating America’s Semiquincentennial (250 years!).

It was great to see such a strong turnout from the community, to have some new faces to join us, and to hear the first sounds of the music coming together. There’s something special about a room full of people lending their voices to the same purpose.

We’re still early in the process, but if last night was any indication, this is going to be a meaningful and memorable celebration.

🇺🇸🎶 Let’s Show Our Support for a Roxboro Tradition! 🎶🇺🇸

The Community Choir of Person is excited to cheer on the 33rd Annual Red Stocking R***e presented by the Roxboro Woman’s Club!

This year’s theme, “Stars, Stripes & ROXBORO Nights,” promises three evenings of fun, laughter, music, and hometown pride — all while supporting the incredible work the Roxboro Woman’s Club does in our community.

🕢 All shows begin at 7:30 PM
📍 The Kirby Auditorium

For over three decades, the Red Stocking R***e has brought our community together in the best way — celebrating local talent and raising funds that directly benefit Roxboro and Person County. That’s something we can all stand behind. ❤️

❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day from the Community Choir of Person! ❤️

Today, we’re celebrating love in all its beautiful forms — friendship, family, community, and the joy we share through music.

There’s something special about voices coming together in harmony. It reminds us that even though we’re all different, we create something beautiful when we unite. That’s love, too.

Thank you for supporting our choir, cheering us on, and being part of our musical family. We’re grateful for each and every one of you today and always.

GOOD SNOWY-ICY-COLD Morning!!!!!!

Last year at this time we were preparing for our first rehearsal in February! I must say, I am glad we do not have rehearsal tonight!!!! Hopefully a month from now, when we DO have our first rehearsal, it will be a bit warmer, with safe roads for all.

Our first rehearsal will be March 2, 7-9. This year's concert will be a celebration of America's 250th birthday and a desire for peace and is planned for Thursday, May 21, at 7:30. Dues will be $25.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a month. Until then, stay safe and warm.

Hello friends! We’ve been a little quiet lately, but we’re still here—and thinking of you during this cold and icy stretch. With even more frigid temperatures expected tonight, please take care, stay warm, and check in on your friends, family, and neighbors. A quick call or message can go a long way. 💙

And here’s something to look forward to: our spring rehearsal season begins the first Monday of March! 🌱
