Our Story

Birchwood Music Company was officially opened in October of 2020 by Haley Vick under the name Music With Haley. During the COVID pandemic she had started teaching all of her lessons online and found a love for this style of lesson. Haley noticed that her students were thriving most noticeably with ear training and independence. Their confidence and skill levels were continuing to grow,

even in this online setting! During lessons we use the screen share feature to play music games, do theory training, notate in our music books, follow along in the music and so many more things. Technology has given us a brand new way to teach music lessons! Having an online studio gives us the ability to teach students from all over the country! We currently have students in Illinois, New York, Florida, Wisconsin, & Texas; and that number continues to grow. We can't wait to share our love of music with you and your family!

Babies this young are absorbing every note, every voice, every bit of rhythm in the room โ€” their brains are literally built for it. You don't have to wait until your child can "participate" to start. This is participating.

Our set designer absolutely crushed it. Every detail helps bring the world of ๐˜ˆ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ฆ ๐˜‰๐˜บ ๐˜๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ต to life, and weโ€™re still finding new things to love every time we step onstage.
