🧡 UIL STATE SOLO & ENSEMBLE – OUTSTANDING PERFORMER AWARD 🧡

Beeville ISD Fine Arts is proud to celebrate an extraordinary accomplishment by two A.C. Jones High School choir students who have been named UIL State Solo & Ensemble Outstanding Performers!

After advancing through the UIL Region Solo & Ensemble Contest with Division I Superior ratings on Class I vocal literature, these students performed at the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest in the Kyle, Tx. where they were selected for one of the highest individual honors awarded by UIL.

The Outstanding Performer Award recognizes superior musicianship, artistry, and performance excellence at the state level. It is the highest individual honor at the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest (TSSEC). Out of approximately 100,000 students who compete at regional UIL events, judges select only the top 1% to 2% of state solo performances for this prestigious designation

This achievement reflects countless hours of preparation, dedication, discipline, and a commitment to musical excellence.

Such a great day for our vocalists at the UIL State Solo & Ensemble Contest held today in Kyle, Texas!

Our students represented A.C. Jones High School and Beeville ISD with pride, earning 17 Division I Superior Gold Medals and 15 Division II Excellent Silver Medals in the solo category. In addition, two vocal ensembles earned Division I Superior Bronze Medals, while two ensembles earned Division II Excellent ratings.

These accomplishments are a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment our students have shown throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of each performer for their preparation, musicianship, and willingness to challenge themselves at the state level.

Congratulations to all of our students, directors, accompanists, transportation dept. and families who helped make this success possible. Thank you for representing Beeville ISD with excellence!
