🎺 ABOUT OUR GUEST CONDUCTOR
We are honored to welcome back Conductor Joshua Thompson, one of the top high school orchestra directors in the nation. For the past decade, he has led the award‑winning Westwood High School Orchestra and conducts clinics and ensembles across the country each summer. This is his fourth concert with the WCSO — and he’s also a fantastic trumpeter!
We are also proud to feature Composer in Residence Emeritus Dr. M. L. Daniels and Composer Alan Lockett in this special program.
