The votes are in!

We asked you to tell us which works inspired you to get outdoors. Fifty visitors to the Round Hill Appalachian Trail Art Show voted for 33 pieces in the show. The voting was very close. Congrats (and thanks) to all the artists.

Here are the "Call of the Wild" top ranked works:

Runner up: "Athena" by Arya Ward
Runner up: "The Look" by Kathleen Howsare
Runner up: "Weeping Palette" by Brandon Ward
Runner up: "Dimorphic Jumping Spider" by Michael Garbus

And our 2026 show comes to an end. Great art and great inspiration--thanks to all our artists. And thanks to all who have visited the show.

Now to count the ballots! We'll let you know when we tally all the "Call of the Wild" votes what the pieces are that inspired the most folks to get outdoors.

The people have spoken! Seventy-eight art aficionados voted in our "People's Choice" balloting at the show. Forty works of art received best-of-show votes!

Our 2025 People's Choice award winners are...

Students: "Turtle" by Harrison Hayden and "Magical Flowers" by Arya Ward (a tie).

Adults: "Serenity" by Carolyn Comras (first place); and "The Lady Awakens" by Eric Wickstrom and "Winter Blues" by Kathy Healy (tied for honorable mentions).

Thanks to More Better Restaurant & Beer Garden for the students' prizes and to Williams Gap Vineyard for the adults' prizes. And thanks again to Eric Scott and the Round Hill Arts Center for hosting and to the Town of Round Hill for sponsoring this Round Hill Outdoors annual event.

April has come to a close...and so has our A.T. art show. Thanks to all the artists—and to all the people who came to the show to be inspired by the art.
