My goal is to capture the emotion of a moment. To do this I spend time studying the location, trying to understand the processes have shaped and influenced the environment. I apply not only the skills of a technician but incorporate techniques of great landscape painters and photographers to inform my compositions and use of light. The combination of these influences and my own study and thoughtfu

lness have fused into a style that is uniquely my own. I strive to take the viewer to the scene of my landscapes, wildlife and abstracts and engage the viewer to linger and reflect. ¬ I want to link the viewer emotionally to subject and place.
