Artist Audrey Milburn got to attend a historic tribal dance in Cherokee, NC, and she captured one of the Native Americans she saw in this beautiful ink drawing entitled “Cherokee Indian Dance.” There are many places across the country where you can experience the gifts of America’s first inhabitants. Summer weekends are made for boating, but have you ever seen a boat like this out on the water? Carol Kerr snapped this shot on Lake Erie on a beautiful, sunny day. Entitled “The USS Niagara – Erie, Pennsylvania,” it is a photo of the very ship that led the American fleet to victory over Britain and its allies in the Battle of Lake Erie, way back in 1812.
