Well fellow AutoXers, we have some disheartening news. The new team for the ACD Dragstrip is welcoming to us, however the cost went up. We get it, totally understand, they are here to run a business. They want us to charge $10 across the board for spectators. They receive $1,500 for day rental. We just had a price increase with drivers to cover the cost of insurance a few months ago. So as of right now, we will not charge our AutoX fam to do what we love. This group of folks are the most welcoming, have your back, good mood, great drivers & all your families show up to support. We haven’t ever made money off of that kind of loving environment, just always enjoyed having that in a world that needs it. No ill will, nothing of the sorts. It’s business & will still fully support ACD in their new ventures. All that said, please put your ears & eyes on, contact who you know, reach out to potential spots because we are looking for a new location to host our events. We own the cones, the timing equipment & the have the manpower, so we can be mobile. Unfortunately this brings Roswell AutoX to a standstill, hopefully a temporary standstill.
