The barbecue people line up for in Raleigh is coming to North Georgia.

On September 17, Chef Christopher Prieto, a longtime friend of the Anthony family and the award-winning pitmaster behind PRIME Barbecue is coming to Happy Valley Farms for one night only.

Chris will prepare a four-course farm-to-table dinner shaped by fire, smoke, and fresh ingredients from the farm. The evening will also feature curated wine and bourbon pairings, live music, farm tours, and ci**rs under the stars.

This is a rare chance to experience his cooking right here in the Chattanooga area.

Our Farm Stand is closing for the season!

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand, participated in our CSA, or supported the farm in other ways this year. Farmer Bert and the team have worked hard through every season and Saturday morning, and we’ve loved sharing the results with you.

The stand may be closing for now, but we’re laying the foundation for a place where we can share even more of the farm with our community. We can’t wait to show you what’s ahead! Bert Vdmerwe

Make a day of it at Happy Valley Farms! We have two special events happening today:

🌻 Sunflowers & Sweets | 10 AM–4 PM
Pick sunflowers and zinnias, enjoy summertime treats, and shop fresh produce at the Farm Stand. U-pick field admission is $5, sunflowers are $2 per stem, and zinnia bouquets are $10. Rain or shine!

🎨 AVA Art Show at Hutcheson Hall (Mansion) | 10am-4pm
Explore work from local artists throughout the historic home. Tickets are $20 and include the exhibition, a mansion tour, wine, a charcuterie cup, and sunflower field admission. Tickets available in person or online at www.happyvalleyfarms.com/events

We’re excited to announce our next farm to table dinner!

On Thursday, September 17th, we’re hosting Barbecue & Bourbon at Happy Valley Farms, a four-course dinner with Chris Prieto of MICHELIN Guide-recognized PRIME Barbecue in North Carolina.

Chris, a friend of the Anthony family, is making a special trip to the farm and bringing the craft, patience, and smoke-driven flavor that have made Prime one of the most talked-about barbecue names in the South.

We’re building the whole night around brisket, bourbon, and the freshest farm-to-table ingredients. Guests will enjoy four farm-to-table courses with specialty bourbon cocktails, carefully selected bourbon and wine pairings, and live music from Lon Eldridge throughout the evening. Cocktail hour will include farm tours, and for those who would like to linger a little longer, we’ll close the night with ci**rs under the stars.

With the beautiful sunflower fields adding to the September backdrop, this will be the highlight of our farm dining season: refined, flavorful, and rooted in the kind of hospitality Happy Valley Farms was made for.
