Caught 8 more catfish jugfishing on Caney Creek last night! About midnight the moon rose up and exploded! I promise the following pics are not of the sun this morning, although it does rise in about the same place the moon did last night.

Finally made that kraut yesterday! Mom and I had a little helper! We put up 18 quarts! Three of those have JoAn Jones Hanna’s name on them because she gave me a big box of jars a while back. Here are some pics we took along the way…

Caney Creek Gang has a big weekend coming up! Next Saturday, June 6, 1:30pm, we’ll be playing the inaugural Roots & Rhythm Festival in Morgantown, Ky, which will be celebrating the legacy of Arnold Shultz. The festival will take place at Charles Black City Park and admission is freeee! Next Sunday, June 7, 1:30pm, we’ll be playing the annual homecoming at West Point Baptist Church in Reynold Station, Ky. Sure hope to see you at one of these!
