In reference to the 'Titulus Crucis' I managed to work it into Act II with very little fuss. Google Gemini gave me suggestions on how to approach even writing a separate scene. But I took some of the suggestion and worked the about the backwards writing of the Latin and Greek, and about the first letters of the Hebrew spelling out the Unpronounceable Sacred Holy Name of God. It translates in English "Jesus (the) Nazarene, (and) King of (the) Jews." I looked at the panel that shows the words, and in the the Hebrew I did spy that 'vav' before the word 'melekh' (מלך) (king) The letter 'vav' in that context means 'and.'

Nowadays, instead of using the "Name" in Hebrew, it is written like this: "ָיְי" and is sounded as "Adonai," meaning "Lord."

Just so you can understand that, please refer to the Video in the previous entry.

A video that I found by Christian Life told about the Titulus Crucis, the title that was put over Jesus on the Cross.

I'm giving serious consideration into incorporating this material in the next draft of the script.

When preparing the special copy of the script for Penguin Random House (Royalty Copy) to peruse to get the permissions for use of the Jerusalem Bible, I found some errors. I corrected the ones on the Royalty Master, and will be correcting on the new Master. After the coordinator for the lectors returns from his vacation, I will try to see if a cold-read (reading at a table) is possible. Sharpen your voices! The reading will also be a form of audition to see who would make the cut. There will be a plethora of roles available.

The snag right now for the royalty issue is to determine how many copies of the audio file will the parish be selling once it's made. Next Columbian Year (2027-28) hopefully the Council and Assembly will be helping with costs of recording and mixing (ouch!)

If there is a Knight in the Sacramento Archdiocese area with a recording studio and can donate time and effort, I'm open to that idea as well.

The Master First Draft is complete and ready to be cold-read. I will be making another master to send to Random House publishing to find out how much royalties would have to be paid to use the scripture lines from The Jerusalem Bible. My proposal would be that the Council and the Assembly will each pay one half. The Knights get their sponsorship for the next Columbian Year (2026-27) in 2027-28 would be the recording, mastering and internet publishing costs. (Is there a Knight in the Sacramento Archdiocesan area that has a recording studio? 😉)

The First Draft of this project is complete. Now to do a table read. I will be talking with the Liturgical Director about arranging one shortly. I am hoping to find someone who can do compose choral music for the Old Testament lines that are fulfilled in those moments. I know that there are quite a number of Knights in the parish who are lectors and choir members, so this could be an opportunity to showcase your voice.

Finished the segment of Jesus appearing to the Apostles and disciples without Thomas. A detail I added was that Jesus gives Peter, John, and James permission to reveal what happened on Mt. Tabor during the past feast of Sukkot.

I've been able to figure out a way to reconcile the women's accounts of the Resurrection of Christ and have got up to their bringing the news to a skeptical group of Apostles and disciples, including Cleopas. I had Cleopas ask his wife what Jesus said when they mentioned their encounter. Because later Cleopas and another disciple were on the road to Emmaus. Cleopas actually recounts the women's story to the incognito Jesus. I also put an 'a-ha' moment for Peter when something clicks and he goes with James and John (the sons of Zebedee) to the tomb. They find the stone rolled away, the sidarium (face-cloth) rolled up and placed and the shroud undisturbed.

Started work on Act VI (Resurrection) but have hit an unexpected snag. There are four different accounts of the Resurrection by the women involved.

The question is, how do I reconcile their accounts into a cohesive and accurate scene? I am loathe to take major liberties with the Scriptures, so it will be the most difficult Act to write because of these differing accounts. I started with a supposed dialogue between the sentries and up to their encounter with the angel(s) no further than that.
