Hello Wonderful Artists! Last year, as a fundraiser for Placer Artists Tour, we introduced “Art Grab-Bags” with mini works of art at our events. It was a lot of fun, people LOVED it, and we raised a good amount of money to support the Tour. Due to this success, we have decided to do the “Art-Grab-Bags” again this year at the Taste of the Tour event at Blue Line Arts and we need your help!
We are seeking donations of mini artworks. What we don't sell at this event we will take to our next event, until they are all sold! Items are needed no later than September 30th, but can be accepted at any time.
Tickets for the Grab-Bags will sell for $20.00 each and proceeds will go towards sustaining the Tour. Donated mini works could be anything - Mini painting or photo, handmade jewelry, small sculpture, calligraphy, poetry, nightlights, handmade buttons or pins - anything that will fit in a 6' x 7 5/8 " x 1" sandwich bag, valued at $20 or more. ( We can accommodate larger if needed.)We encourage artists to give one business card for each donation to be included in the grab-bag.

The BIG 12”x12” Canvas Show for 2nd Saturday

It’s a BIG little art show!! View the big 12”x12” canvas exhibit and see the creations of more than 50 local artists as they mesmerize you with their 12”x12” artwork. Singles, diptychs, and triptychs will cover the walls of the I Street Art Studios at 1727 I Street on 2nd Saturday August 10 from 2-8 pm AND on Sunday August 11 from 1-4 pm. Come to buy something for that small space or come to enjoy the variety and visit with the artists. As always, there will be a kids table and the 4 attached studios of the 18 resident artists will be open for your enjoyment.
