Murder Cafe's new spring-summer show, The Last Laugh, opens this Saturday night at Curry Estate in Hopewell Junction. Our talented cast includes Julia Szabo, Andrew Court, Jan Melchoir, Jen Saracino, Wendy Rudder, Sam Eisenbaum and Marisa Gorsline. They'll be ready to deliver an evening of standup comedy, coupled with a murder! Set in a comedy club called The Chuckle Shack, comics will deliver punchlines and conflicts as they compete for a gold water bottle. And, as an audience member, you'll be invited by club emcee Mike Magoon to take the mic! They'll be a surprise guest and an ending that will shock you. After Saturday's opening night the fun moves to a variety of venues including the Kartrite Resort in Monticello, the Best Western in Kingston, Hudson House Distillery in West Park, Van Dyck Music Club in Schenectady, Tarrytown Estate in Tarrytown, the MIlford Theatre in MIlford, PA and the Historic Hotel Broadalbin in Broadalbin, NY. ACTOR WANTED - Paid Gig and National Exposure!

Murder Cafe, the Hudson Valley's premier dinner theatre entertainment company, is seeking a male actor, 25-55 for several upcoming performances. Show dates are June 6th, June 26th, September 23rd and the weekend of November 13th.

In addition, the show will be filmed on May 27th, (That's in two weeks!) for an episode of a long running, national television show!

Experience in interactive dinner theater is not required but the actor must be comfortable working without a "fourth wall" and engaging with the audience.

We would prefer that the actor live in the mid-Hudson Valley and have reliable transportation. A stipend and meals are included for all performances.

Mohonk Mountain House's 50th anniversary Mystery Weekend was a fantastic experience and one that we are still reliving. I extend a round of applause to Murder Cafe's amazing cast and crew, all of whom brought Murder by the Book to life. I also thank Mohonk's photographer, Dave Blenis, for the photography. He really captured the spirit of the weekend and our successful production.
