I woke up in the middle of the night with the idea to lay a checkerboard motif behind traditionally pieced stars - and unlike most of my midnight ideas, this one came to fruition. Say hello to Cosmic Court! I cannot wait to see how y’all play with this one!

To make this quilt we used all the colorful fabrics from my Foundation 2 line and some assorted others for the stars, the daisy low volume fabric from Summer Lovin’ and a black print that features tiny colorful stars.

I have always been a lover of tulips - there’s something so happy about a field full of blooms. So, this is my patchwork take on a tulip field because some of you know I already have a fusible appliqué tulip pattern - *cough, Tulip Terrace, cough*

But today is all about Fat Bottom Blooms! This is a “no background” pattern, meaning all you need is a stack of fat-quarters to get started!
