Flashback Weekend is Chicago’s largest and longest running horror convention (held annually during the summer in Rosemont, IL) and is dedicated to the preservation of the big screen theatrical horror film
experience. In 2007 Flashback Weekend saved and restored the historic Midway Drive-In located in Dixon, IL. The Midway Drive-In now holds 35mm Drive-In horror film fests during April and Sept, and first run films during the summer. Visit www.flashbackweekend.com for updates.

Dermot Mulroney joins Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention July 31 - Aug 2, 2026. Dermot portrayed Detective Wayne Bailey, a major character in "SCREAM 6" (2023). In addition to "SCREAM 6", Dermot has over 150 roles in classic films including "YOUNG GUNS", "MY BEST FRIENDS WEDDING", "BAD GIRLS", "COPYCAT", "THE GREY", "INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3", and TV including "CHICAGO FIRE", "SECRET INVASION", "FRIENDS", "ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT", "AMERICAN HORROR STORY", and many more! Dermot is also an accomplished, classically trained cellist who has performed on major soundtrack scores including "ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY", "SPIDERMAN FAR FROM HOME", "JURASSIC WORLD", "THE INCREDIBLES 2", and many more! Flashback Weekend Chicago is a homecoming for Dermot, as he has spent much time in Chicago filming movies such as "MY BEST FRIENDS WEDDING", and TV shows including "CHICAGO FIRE", CHICAGO MED", and "CHICAGO P.D."!

Celeste O'Connor joins Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention July 31 - Aug 2, 2026. Celeste plays Chloe Parker, who is a best friend to Tatum Evans (Sidney Prescott's daughter), and Hannah (Mckenna Grace) in "SCREAM 7". Chloe has become known for putting up a fierce fight against Ghostface during the intense life and death struggle at Parker's Tavern. Celeste has many other roles in studio blockbusters including "GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE", "GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE", "MADAME WEB", the horror hit "FREAKY", and many acclaimed indie hits!
