🥋 What an incredible day for our Elk Grove/Roselle National Karate family!

This past weekend, our Black Belt candidates stepped onto the floor to face one of the biggest challenges in martial arts—the Black Belt Exam. They were tested physically, mentally, and emotionally. They pushed through fatigue, overcame obstacles, and demonstrated the discipline, perseverance, courage, and heart that define a true Black Belt.

And they rose to the occasion!

We are incredibly proud to share that our candidates passed their exams with flying colors! 👏

But the greatest achievement wasn't earning a new belt rank. The greatest victory was what they proved to themselves:

💪 **They can do hard things.**

Confidence isn't built by avoiding challenges. It is built by facing them head-on and discovering that we are stronger, more capable, and more resilient than we ever imagined.

To all of our under black belt students, remember this: every Black Belt started exactly where you are today. Every class attended, every stripe earned, every challenge overcome, and every lesson learned brings you one step closer to your own Black Belt journey.

The road to Black Belt isn't easy—and that's exactly what makes it so meaningful.

Dream big. Work hard. Never give up. One day, it could be your turn standing proudly on that Black Belt testing floor. ❤️🥋

Today, I had the honor of attending Master Albertson’s very last class before his well-deserved retirement.
> Master Albertson started his journey all the way back in 1979. As a 9th degree black belt, he is the highest-ranking student under National Karate grandmasters Worley and Carnahan. To be able to share the mat with him for his final class is something I will never forget.

We are excited to announce a very special training opportunity for our students!

We will be hosting a Lilli McGuire Traditional Sport Karate Seminar here at National Karate—an incredible chance to learn from one of the top competitors in sport karate today.

Lilli McGuire is known for her incredible kicking ability, balance, and precision technique, which have helped earn her multiple World Champion titles. This is a rare opportunity for our students to learn directly from someone competing at the highest level of the sport.

Seminar Focus:
This seminar will be centered around:

Stretching techniques to improve flexibility
Kicking drills to develop height, control, and power
Form sequences designed to elevate performance

What makes this seminar especially valuable is that everything being taught will not only benefit students in competition, but can also be applied directly to our National Karate curriculum.
