As summer starts winding down, let’s take a moment to appreciate these precious hand painted fruit plates made by one of our very talented members during open studio!

I love the simplicity of the little berries, cherries, and leaves, and how each plate has its own personality. Such a sweet reminder of the beautiful things you can create when you have a little time to slow down and play with clay. 🍒🫐

We wrapped up our Hybrid Building class last night, and I’m seriously impressed with what this group created!

Over the past three weeks we constructed these beautiful, oversized bowls using a unique hand building technique, the slab/coil method. It’s such a fun way to build BIG pieces while creating beautiful shape, movement, and character.

Just look at these beauties! Every single one is so unique, and I can’t wait to see the gorgeous glaze colors everyone chooses to finish them.

I’d say this class was a success! ✨
