Be sure to check out the bowl raffle when you’re at the Minnesota BeadGypsy for the Midsommar celebration this Friday and Saturday! The bowl is a nice sized serving bowl, 9” x 3”. Proceeds will help fund the Moessiah Youth Group for their mission trip this summer.

October 16 to today, this amazing amaryllis has been blooming! The second photo was taken today. The angle of the sun makes the stalks grow longer, so they get floppy and fragile. Despite its severe injury and subsequent “bandaids”, the baby shoot seems determined to offer a blossom for us! I’ll have to repot the whole thing when it’s done blooming, to give the new bulbs more room to grow.

Woo hoo, I finally was able to bring some pottery to the Minnesota BeadGypsy! Among the new mugs are some I named Big Gulps. They hold 16-18 ounces, so they’re perfect for a good Monday morning caffein kick or to hold a cozy mug of soup!! If you’ve been waiting for a “Home is where the heart is?” magnet, you’re in luck!
