Attention: Northwest Georgia! Big laughs, bold storytelling, and one of the biggest names in comedy are coming to Rome this November.

Danny McBride will be one of the headline guests at the Rome International Film Festival, November 5–8, where he will receive RIFF’s Flannery O’Connor Award for Storytelling.

From breaking out with the The indie film The Foot Fist Way to creating and starring in Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones, Danny has built a career on fearless characters, fiercely funny writing, and a filmmaking voice that is unmistakably his own. As an actor, writer, producer, and creator, he has become one of the most distinctive and influential comedic storytellers working in film and television today.

And this November, he’s coming to Rome, Georgia!
