Cluck, cluck! Meet Henrietta! 🐔💕 This adorable chicken-shaped oven mitt is as fun to make as she is to use! In this playful, hands-on class, you’ll create your very own Henrietta.

Henrietta features a whimsical chicken shape with wings, beak, comb, and a handy pocket-style opening for your hand. The finished mitt measures approximately 10" wide x 6" tall—the perfect size for adding a little farmhouse fun to your kitchen!

The project is rated beginner to intermediate, so whether you're a confident beginner or an experienced sewist, you'll have a great time bringing Henrietta to life. 🐔✨

Join Cara Shores for this fun and exciting 3-day In-the-Hoop Embroidery Hoop Hanger Class! You’ll learn how to create a beautiful, functional hanger designed specifically to hold and organize your embroidery hoops.
This is a great opportunity to learn new in-the-hoop techniques while creating something you’ll actually use in your sewing space! 🧵❤️
✨ WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
• Working with an in-the-hoop embroidery project
• Proper hooping and stabilizing techniques
• Creating quilted and appliquéd sections in the hoop
• Constructing the individual hoop flaps
• Attaching Velcro closures
• Assembling the hanger panels
• Finishing and adding the backing/binding
• Tips and tricks from Cara to help you successfully complete your project

• Your embroidery machine in good working order
• 5" x 7", 6"x10", 8"x12" embroidery hoop
• Approximately ⅓ yard each of 4 coordinating fabrics
• 1 yard backing/binding fabric
• Approximately ½ yard batting
• Approximately 1 yard cutaway stabilizer
• Embroidery thread and bobbin thread
• Temporary spray adhesive
• Embroidery scissors
• Appliqué/duckbill scissors
• Rotary cutter, mat and ruler
• Seam ripper
• Basic sewing supplies
• Sewing machine for final assembly

🧵 Bring 40 strips, 2½" × 45", plus your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies

🎨 Need fabric? We’ll have select Kaffe Jelly Rolls 50% off for the class! You’re also welcome to bring your own fabrics or if you’d like to use fabric from the shop, stop by this week before class so you can get your fabric cut and ready to sew!
