From the irresistible energy of Grease’s “Summer Nights” to the fierce promise of Gypsy’s “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” Seasons of Song draws on more than six decades of musical theater from The Fantasticks and Camelot to contemporary hits like Hadestown and Rent. The r***e explores how each season carries its own stories of love, loss, longing, and renewal, with the seasons serving sometimes as subject, sometimes as atmosphere.
