IN THE HEIGHTS SNEAK PREVIEW!
Tuesday, January 30, 12-1
The HUB Cultural Center

Come to this sneak preview of SSU’s upcoming production of In the Heights, the great Afro-Latino musical written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, writer of Hamilton, and Quiara Alegría Hudes. The cast will give a special performance from the show in the HUB, “No Me Diga,” a funny and exciting number, set in the beauty salon of In the Heights! The owner, Daniela, and friends Carla and Vanessa are happy to see Nina, who’s just returned to their neighborhood in Washington Heights, NYC. They’ve gotten her to hang out for a minute at the salon. They start chatting and the gossip begins!

Musical Director Dr. Lynne Morrow will also share with us about the African roots of the show’s Latin American music. Come have food, celebrate Black History Month, and party with us as we get ready for the February performances in Person Theatre of In the Heights!
