It’s with a heavy heart that we announce that Game the Room will be permanently closed. But instead of saying goodbye, we want to say thank you. Thank you for helping us steal dragon eggs and travel through time; thank you for shutting down an evil AI and braving the depths of Atlantis; and most of all, thank you for your support, which made this dream possible.

We had so much fun, and we hope you did, too.

Happy holidays! We’ve received several inquiries about buying gift cards, and we sincerely appreciate your support! However, due to the ongoing uncertainty, we are not currently selling gift cards. If you bought or received a gift card previously, and it hasn’t been used because we’ve been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you can reach out to us at [email protected] if you would like reimbursement.

We're temporarily removing the booking option from our website. We're sad to take this step, but we don't want anyone to reserve a game that we're not confident we can provide. We will share information here when we know when we will reopen. Thank you all for your support, and many thanks to those of you who were flexible with rescheduling your current bookings. To prevent further community spread of coronavirus, we have made the difficult decision to close Game the Room through April 2, effective immediately. We care about our customers and our community, and we feel that this is the socially responsible choice for our business. We will continue to monitor the situation to determine if we need to remain closed beyond April 2.

We hope you and your loved ones stay healthy, safe, and well during this challenging time.
