The tide has been a little quiet around here. Behind the scenes, though, Salt & Weave has been taking shape. I've been weaving, working on the website, dreaming up what comes next-and remembering that handmade things don't need to be rushed. There's something I love about a basket before it's finished.

You can see where it's been, where it's going, and there's still plenty of room to change your mind along the way.

Ribbed basketry gives me that freedom. Different textures, different fibers, a little color — every basket finds its own way.
