Notification of all classes cancelled today, Thursday, August 27th.
Good Afternoon, dance family,
It is with an incredibly heavy and broken heart that I share the passing of my mom, Mrs. Doris.
As many of you know, Mom has been courageously battling ovarian cancer for the past five months. Unfortunately, her battle came to an end, and she passed away surrounded by so much love.
To so many of you, she was Mrs. Doris—the smiling face behind the front desk who greeted you when you walked into the studio. But she was so much more than that. She was one of the biggest cheerleaders for every single one of your children. She loved watching them grow, hearing about their accomplishments, and seeing them take the stage. She never wanted to miss a dance, a recital, or a competition if she could help it.
Dance brought so much joy to my mom’s life. The studio became her safe haven during some of the most difficult times in her life. This dance family became so much more than just a dance family to her—it truly became her second family and her second home.
She loved our dancers. She loved our families. She loved sitting behind that front desk and being a part of everything happening at the studio. I know that walking through those doors and not seeing her there is going to be incredibly difficult for so many of us.
There simply aren’t words to express how deeply she will be missed.
Once arrangements have been made for Mom’s Celebration of Life, I will share that information with our Impact family.
For now, I am asking that you please respect the privacy of our family as we try to process this tremendous loss. We are not accepting visitors at this time. Your prayers, love, and understanding mean more to us than I can express.
In honor of the incredible woman she was, and to allow our family and studio family time to grieve, all classes are canceled tonight, Thursday, August 27.
Thank you for loving my mom. Thank you for making her feel like such an important part of this dance family. And thank you for allowing her to love and cheer for your children all these years. I know they brought more joy into her life than they will ever realize.
Mrs. Doris will forever be a part of this studio. Her smile, her love, her encouragement, and the countless memories she created here will remain with us always.
I love you all. 💚🖤
Mrs. Randi
