🔥 ONE VENUE. TWO SIDES. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES. 🔥

The Southern Sound Showdown put the versatility of the Rocky Mount Event Center on full display this weekend! 🏎️🏍️🔊

We transformed both sides of our Field House to bring cars, Jeeps, Slingshots, and bikes under one roof for an incredible show and sound competition. From rows of custom builds to high-powered audio setups, our flexible space allows completely different experiences to come together for one massive event weekend.

Big events need big possibilities—and this is what versatility looks like at the Rocky Mount Event Center. 💥

Different events. Same excellence.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the referees who volunteered their time to officiate the 2nd Annual Battle of the Badges. Your willingness to give up part of your Saturday, keep the games moving, and help us create a great experience for our teams played an important role in the success of this year’s event.

We also want to give a very special thank you to Eddie Buffalo. Although Eddie wasn’t able to join us in person this year, his impact was felt throughout the day. Eddie helped secure our referees and worked behind the scenes to make sure we had the support needed on the court. Without his help, this part of Battle of the Badges simply would not have been possible.

Eddie, we truly appreciate your continued support, your willingness to help, and your commitment to what Battle of the Badges represents.

To Eddie and every referee who donated their time, thank you for helping us bring our public safety agencies together for a greater cause and support the American Heart Association - North Carolina.

We’re already looking forward to working with you again for Battle of the Badges 2027!
