These amazing FCHS Spring Choir students put on a FABULOUS Music In Our Schools concert today in collaboration with the FCHS Band, FCHS Theatre Dept., BFMS Band and Choir! 🎵 It was so nice to have a full concert of fun, smiles, and amazing live music! Such a FABULOUS second day of All Districts! These students worked so hard and it showed in the amazing concert they had Saturday evening! ♥️

Also, we must congratulate our very own HAYDEN JAMISON on being named 2nd Alternate for All-Virginia Chorus as a Bass 1! Great work this weekend everyone! So proud! 🎶

Please join me in congratulating our FCHS Eagle Choir singers who were selected to represent FRANKLIN COUTY HS in this years All-District VI Choir! Students were selected based on their audition where they performed a prepared piece, Whither Must I Wander, and a challenging sight reading piece all completed in person for the first time since 2019!

Congratulations to Kaylei Greer, selected as a member of the Soprano 2 section for the Mixed Choir.

Congratulations to Jordan Bernard, selected as a member of the Alto 2 section for the Mixed Choir.

Congratulations to Hayden Jamison, selected as a member of the Bass 1 section for the Mixed Choir.

Also, Congratulations to Ahleina McLaughlin (3rd Alternate-Soprano 2) and Kaitlyn Heckman (1st Alternate-Alto 2) on being selected as a Alternates for their vocal parts!

Finally an in person event! All Districts went wonderful yesterday and even though they experienced an 11 hour day full of rehearsals, they sounded BEAUTIFUL at the concert! Great work to all 9 of you! ♥️🦅💪🏼

Congratulations to all of these singers for their work on this incredible project! The Eagle Choir has been thrilled to continue to share music with the Franklin County community this crazy year. We can finally see some light in the music community after a lot of darkness over the last year. But then again, perhaps that light was always there. Enjoy!
