Finally getting some astro images I'm happy with!
This is the North American Nebula in the Cygnus region. The image was captured by filtering out most light except for the Hydrogen-Alpha wavelength, of which nebulae like this one emit a lot of. This is what gives it the reddish color.
The bright star on the top left is called Deneb, one of three stars that make up the summer triangle.
Around 2 hours of total exposure time, including light, dark, flat, and bias images.

Weddings are such joyful days! I'm so sorry for anyone who has had to change their wedding plans this year because of Covid. Just know that the joy will still come, and perhaps it will be even sweeter! Stay safe, and keep practicing social distancing. The country may be reopening in many places, but that doesn't mean we are out of the weeds. Also don't forget to use common sense.

Always looking for new techniques and ways to improve. This shoot was all about off-camera flash. I'm pretty impressed with my first-time results and can't wait to see what else I can create with it!
