We're wrapping up August with a new face at the San Jacinto Plaza Music Series! Join us Saturday, August 29, as we welcome Cade Holliday to the plaza.

Originally getting his start in Weatherford and now based in Fort Worth, Cade brings together Texas country, Americana and Southern rock with honest songwriting and a definite rock & roll edge. His music has been gaining listeners throughout the Texas music scene, with his song “Picture” surpassing 600,000 streams on Spotify.

Rockabilly Comes to San Jacinto Plaza!

Join us Friday, August 28, as Justin Pickard takes the stage at the San Jacinto Plaza Music Series!

A longtime fixture in the Dallas music scene, Justin brings a sound rooted in rockabilly, country and old-school rock & roll. His music draws from the sounds of the 1950s while putting his own spin on those American roots traditions. He even traveled to Memphis to record at the legendary Sun Studio, home to some of the earliest recordings by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis.

We’re excited to welcome Sarah Elizabeth Schafer to the San Jacinto Plaza Music Series this Saturday, August 15!

A Scottish native turned Texan, Sarah is making her mark on the Texas Country music scene with powerful vocals, heartfelt songwriting and a sound that blends her Scottish roots with her love for Americana and Texas Country.

Now based in DFW, Sarah has become a familiar performer in the Fort Worth Stockyards and has shared the stage with artists including Bri Bagwell and Justin Biltonen of 3 Doors Down, while opening for names like ERNEST, Josh Weathers and Chris Knight.

New to San Jacinto Plaza — Heath Owens!

We’re excited to welcome Heath Owens to the San Jacinto Plaza Music Series for the first time this Friday, August 14!

Country music runs deep for Heath. Growing up in Southern Idaho and carrying on a pretty remarkable musical heritage as the great-grandson of country legend Buck Owens, Heath has developed a sound all his own — blending classic country roots with alt-country, Southern rock and soulful songwriting.

His influences stretch from Buck Owens, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard to today’s alt-country and roots-rock artists, making this a great night for anyone who likes their country music with a little edge.
