We are now offering single day enrollment for the Badlands Enrichment Program! Single day schedules will support students in meeting their class requirements for the day (or homework time on flex days) and enjoy socially distanced play, guided arts and crafts, STEM challenges, and more! Health and safety of all our students and staff is a priority for our Enrichment Program. Sound on to hear Christan tell you about our heath room where students that are feeling ill or develop a temperature will rest, away from the other students until they can be picked up.

Sound on! During our Enrichment Program masks will be required, but we know it can be tough for students to wear a mask all day. We have set up a relaxation room- a safe space for students to take short, mask free breaks. Only one student will be allowed at a time, and the room will be cleaned and disinfected after each use and professionally cleaned and disinfected every night.

Welcome to the Badlands Enrichment program! Turn your sound on to watch Christian demonstrate our check-in process. Each student will be greeted at the door, scanned with our no-contact thermal thermometer, and wash their hands before heading to their pod. Each pod will have a dedicated restroom for the week, and a sink in each pod for frequent hand washing.

Sound on! Safety and cleanliness are top priorities for our Badlands Enrichment Program. We are transitioning our playspace to create a safe space for social distancing. We will have air purifiers in every pod, frequent staff cleaning throughout the day, and nightly professional deep cleaning. Stay tuned for more video tours of our space!

In the Badlands Enrichment Program students will be in small pods with a dedicated leader, providing a safe and supportive learning environment with support in digital studies, vital social interactions, and mindful play. Dear Badlands Community,

As I have hoped and prayed for a miracle these past few months, the realities of this crisis have sunk in. Two months ago, we made the difficult decision to temporarily close our space before it was mandated. Governor Hogan and Maryland leadership are hard at work finalizing a plan to responsibly open our state and based on those projections and the understandable capacity limitations that will likely be enforced, Badlands (in its current design), will not be able to sustain the same free-range play we centered our business around.

It pains me to say that after this weekend's Pull-In Pantry, we will be ceasing regular operations completely until we can offer something both safe and impactful to the community again. That means we will look different, but our mission and our heart will remain the same.

We will keep posting here with updates.

Sharing your laughs and smiles for the last three years has been a privilege and, through the tears, I truly feel that our community and world will make it through stronger and closer than before.
