This collection of images is inspired by an exciting moment in my studio as I was pondering my progress. I realized that each new piece I create starts way back while working on previous pieces. The cumulative knowledge of details while studying a form is a slow process that eventually becomes spontaneous. And the more spontaneous my work becomes, the more genuine and authentic it is.

Mr. Tik Tok is the newest addition to my Imperfect Humans collection. That vintage mechanical clock reminds me of my grandmother's house, where I could hear time passing away.

Time in itself is an abstract concept but a very important part of our life. I am inspired by the idea of time and nostalgia so have plans to make more pieces on the subject.

"Autumn Leaves" is inspired by the song in the audio. Will debut at Broad Ripple art show in Indianapolis next weekend (May 16 & 17. I'm looking forward to my 1st visit ever to Indiana.
