🍂 Hello, Autumn! 🍂

Welcome, first day of fall!

We love this time of year...cooler mornings, changing leaves, mums on the porch… and maybe, just maybe, the woodshop will finally start cooling off some! 😂

We’re ready for sawdust, cooler temperatures, and plenty of fall projects.

Happy First Day of Fall from Elk Hollow Woodworking! 🍁

Furniture to look at or furniture to use? We say BOTH!

Beautiful furniture shouldn’t be something you’re afraid to actually live with.

Put your feet up. Set down your coffee. Gather the family around it. Let the kids use it. Make memories on it.

At Elk Hollow Woodworking, we build pieces that look good in your home, but are made for real life. The best furniture doesn’t just fill a space - it is part of your home.

Have an idea for a custom piece? Send us a message!

An 18th-century warship could require around 2,000 oak trees to build. Oak was prized for shipbuilding because of its strength and durability...strong enough to build ships designed to withstand years at sea.

Pretty amazing to think that some of the same wood we use in woodworking today once helped carry ships across the ocean.

You know you're a woodworker when…

You can't walk past a beautiful piece of lumber without thinking,
“Hmm…I could make something out of that.” 😂
