CHILLY, BUT PLEASANT: Good Saturday morning, all! We've made it to the weekend, and while temperatures will be on the chillier side, there will be a boatload of sunshine, and the winds will be very light, so the day will feel quite pleasant, all in all!

It should be a wonderful day to have some winter fun at Rockton Yeti Fest in Downtown Rockton or enjoy some outdoor play time at the Snow Park at Alpine Hills Adventure Park!

If you're a fan of the colder temperatures, be sure to take full advantage today, as this promises to be the coolest day we'll see in AT LEAST the next week. A taste of spring arrives early next week, and the overall pattern is likely to keep things on the mild side through February 20, if not longer!

Today we built six blocks for the 2026 Legion of Snow Sculptors Exhibition in record time: 2 hours and 45 minutes. Unbelievable team work! Thank you to Legion member Josh Normington for his masterful driving, Legion member Brian Hansmeier for sending his incredible Executive Lawn Services crew (Mike Townsend, Devan Arns and Zach Stewart), Rockton Lions Club and Legion members Terrie Sharp Garlow and Dan Garlow, Legion members the Vikings In Black (Bjorn, Thorfinn and Svenhärd), and our youngest and incredibly hardworking volunteer Kaelynn Bohnert representing for Hononegah Key Club!
